This covers expenses related to the recruitment process. There is also an opportunity to donate to IFC's annual Charity Golf Tournament that benefits local non-profit, Gainesville Thrives.You must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least 1 credit hour at the University of Florida in order to join a fraternity. Students enrolled at other institutions are not eligible for membership and joining is a violation of UF policies. Location: Reitz Union Auditorium, second level (please show up 20-30 minutes early for check-in)
Time:
Groups 1-12: 9:30am Orientation start time (check-in opens at 9:00am)
House Visitations: 10:30am-3:15pm
Groups 13-24: 2:30pm Orientation start time (check-in opens at 2:00pm)
House Visitations: 3:20pm-7:50pm
Details: IFC Recruitment Orientation session followed by chapter visits that will last roughly 4 and half hours after the end of each orientation session.
Chapters off-row visited include: Sigma Alpha Mu, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Phi Gamma Delta, Pi Lambda Phi, Delta Tau Delta, Pi Kappa Alpha, Delta Upsilon, Phi Delta Theta, Phi Kappa Tau, Alpha Tau Omega, and Kappa Sigma.
Sunday 8/24
Details & Location: For Sunday's on-campus house visitations, groups 17 - 24 will be each be split in half into an "A" group and a "B" group and paired with another group 1 - 16. You will receive communication from your Delegate which A or B group you will be assigned to. You will start your house visitations with your group at the respective house below:
Groups 1 & 17A: Delta Sigma Phi
Groups 2 & 17B: Alpha Epsilon Pi
Groups 3 & 18A: Beta Theta Pi
Groups 4 & 18B: Pi Kappa Phi
Groups 5 & 19A: Theta Chi
Groups 6 & 19B: Sigma Nu
Groups 7 & 20A: Tau Epsilon Phi
Groups 8 & 20B: Sigma Chi
Groups 9 & 21A: Zeta Beta Tau
Groups 10 & 21B: Delta Chi
Groups 11 & 22A: Kappa Alpha Order
Groups 12 & 22B: Sigma Phi Epsilon
Groups 13 & 23A: Lambda Chi Alpha
Groups 14 & 23B: Alpha Gamma Rho
Groups 15 & 24A: Chi Phi

Description: You will visit every chapter located on fraternity row. Your IFC Delegate will meet you outside your group's designated house at 9am. You must be on time. Tours will start without you and you are not permitted to join another group if you arrive late.
Monday 8/25-8/29
Lunch: Some chapters will be open throughout the week for you to join them for lunch! Ask about this option during weekend tours.7:00pm-10:00pm: Individual fraternity events (ask for schedule of events during house tours on Saturday and Sunday or check fraternity Instagram accounts for event information).Please note that you must be a degree-seeking student enrolled in at least one credit hour at the University of Florida to join an IFC fraternity. Failure to meet this criteria could lead to student conduct action as it is a violation of University policy. Incoming Innovation Academy students are NOT eligible to join a Greek organization during their FIRST fall semester at the University of Florida, they will have to wait until Spring 2026 to join.
